[mythtv-users] run script at the end of a recording?

It could be useful to show when mythtv start recording ... instead of
checking backend at each N seconds.

Simply, there should be a script which send a broadcast, and a {applet,
desktop, plugin, <any>} to alert user whenever it starts :)
