Thank you for your response. To verify the hypothesis, I used
test-mpeg2 to grab a stream from some of the same channels I have been
trying to get mythtv to record. The dvbsnoop program shows the PAT
appears pretty regularly (447 packets between each). I was hoping this
was my problem, but it appears to be something else. I will continue to
look.
How do I know if I am using the right connection speed? Trial and error?
