[mythtv-users] 20.2 Commercial Flagging

Hi:

Automatic commercial flagging is not working for me.  It starts 
immediately after a program begins recording (ATSC only via the 
HDHomeRun) but the log reports zero breaks.  An excerpt of the 
MythBackend log is below.  If I run CommFlag 'manually' from the 
Watch Recordings screen, it seems to complete successfully and find 
most (or all) the commercial breaks.

I notice that sometimes CommFlag reports that it is finished even 
before the show is fully recorded.  In one case, it 'finished' 7 
seconds into a 60 minute recording.

Is it because I have marginal reception?  I get a lot of log entries 
complaining about mpeg2 issues.  Looking at a log for two days 
(believe I recorded 13.5 hours of OTA ATSC) showed over 80,000 such 
log entries.

I've turned off the option for Strict Commercial Detection.

I'm running the frontend and backend on a CoreDuo Mac Mini under Mac 
OS X 10.4.10.  Backend version is:
