Xinerama is provided either by Xorg or your video driver. I think in
your case the nvidia driver is enabling it because you have twinview
enabled or otherwise have configured two screens.

This is unrelated to Xinerama. nVidia cards after the 5xxx series
don't have XVideo overlay, so chromakey OSD doesn't work. There is
a new feature in trunk called XvMC-OpenGL which is actually a
little nicer looking than the chromakey OSD and works with newer
nVidia cards. You need to link to the nVidia XvMC library using
./configure --xvmc-lib=XvMCNVIDIA to use this new feature (and
select this OSD renderer in the Video Profiles.)
