[mythtv-users] Webcam

Since MythTV uses v4l under the hood, I figured I'd try to get my v4l
compatible webcam set up as a capture-card.

Before attempting the myth integration, I set up the camera and verified
that the following produces the expected video:

mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video2

Then I used mthtv-setup to define a V4L analog capture card. Myth
complained about not being able to probe the device, but it let me
continue on.

I'm not sure if this part was necessary, but I also created a new blank
Input source, and added channel 3 to it and associated it with the
webcam.

When I attempted to view the new channel using LiveTV it did show the
video from the webcam, but the colors were off, and the image in
general was a bit garbled.

So, any thoughts on how to get the color and image set correctly?

Thanks!
