Sorry, you are wrong.  Zap2It is not driving down the street blowing 20s 
onto your lawn.  They are not sending any data to you.  You are 
intentionally taking it from their web server.

To correct your analogy, "they should have remembered to close the back 
door before you went inside and took what you wanted".
