While you may disagree, you're wrong. Scraping is a function of  
XMLTV. It's also a function of many scripts that provide data to  
mythtv. MythTV requires program data to function properly, but there  
are many sources for that data (including manually typing them into  
the database from a newspaper) that can be implemented into mythtv,  
but they are NOT core functions of mythtv. This isn't to say I'm  
against it. Soon enough I'm going to be working on a way to use the  
DirecTV screen scraper in unison with my SD account to compare the  
available data and import the most complete listings possible. We'll  
see if I ever get around to that little piece of perl.
