Had same problem here.

Found one site with the 2.6.22.4-65 kernel 
http://lesloueizeh.com/f7/i386/updates/updates which the drivers are 
available for 

Manually downloaded the kernel and kernel-devel rpms and installed them
with rpm --install --oldpackage. Then could install the lirc stuff.
