You misunderstand me. I meant that my two of my present PVR-150s have IR
receivers, the third does not (it's the MCE version). This refers to the
receiver electronics on the card, not the external receiver "eye", I
only use one of those plugged into one of my IR-capable PVRs.

Sorry for any confusion. You may not have been aware that some PVR-150s
do not have IR receivers.

To make things even more complicated, some older 150s only come with an
IR receiver, while the newer ones have the receiver/blaster combo.

My point was that there is no apparent problem with having two or more
IR-capable cards in the machine.

There should be a law: change the card, change the model #.
