I stand corrected. You're definitely the person I had in mind when I
was talking about someone who just wants a DVR to work without spending
/any/ time at all on it.
It's not like you have years of experience running MythTV nor do you
spend way too much time reading and responding to posts on the MythTV
lists--often answering others' questions and teaching (which is the best
way to learn). So you've proved that it's possible to have a perfectly
stable MythTV system without spending any more time on it than one would
spend plugging a cable-company-provided DVR into the wall. :)
