[mythtv-users] PVR500 Tuning

Thanks for the info.  I have/had read most of it.  My interest is only in
MythTV so as my starting point I looked at the 'HCL' and if I recall the
PVR500 and the ATSC/QAM tuners (in my case HVR-1800) are supported, if not
fully at least to some extent.
To assume that I just went around sticking cables is just condescending and
patronizing.  I assume that each person starts their mythtv journeys at
different levels and proceed to learn (from reading, references or more
experienced users, kinda like a community...) as they go along.
Based on that simple email that I sent, I learned more than from reading
alone as others willingly shared their practical experiences... I am
comfortable with asking at the risk of appearing stupid but that's my style
of learning, it usually complements all of my reading
