Nah... with 4 drives this box draws under 50 watts and with an additional
fan the drive temps are about 10C above ambient. The noise isolation alone is
definitely worth it and you don't have to cool those 4 drives inside the pc
case which already has 3 or 4 tuner cards generating as much heat as the extra 4
hd's.
