Right.  Most new HDTVs have multiple inputs on the back of them --
composite, svideo, component, hdmi, vga if you're lucky, maybe a
tuner.  Some TVs have a way to switch to a any input directly, others
require you to cycle through them in a list until you get to what you
want.
