Wow, those Air2PC's have sold on e-bay for a good price.  I didn't
realize the price point they were at.  I was going to suggest buying
one of those USB tuners at someplace with a liberal return policy (CC)
if it doesn't work right.  But for that price you could get 3 of those
Air2PC's.


Recording doesn't take much CPU, but it does take some as it processes
the frames and stores that data in the db.  If your machine is on the
edge of HD ability, there is a decent chance that record and playback
at the same time would put it over the edge.  Again, a liberal return
policy on the tuner would be handy in this case.  Disk speed isn't a
concern with one tuner I don't think.

But you just know if you get the Air2PC and it's not quite fast
enough, you'll end up buying more stuff to make it work :)
