A bit of extra info on this.. it's definitely a mythtv problem, other media
players can play the same files with no problem. The picture is blurry
(including the OSD, it's not just the recording), and will often jump up
about 20 pixels, showing what looks like the top of the frame at the bottom.
It also appears when this happens that some of the colours are in their
correct place, giving a strange kind of ghosting effect.

Also, if I pause the video, it looks absolutely fine; I can frameskip
through whilst paused with no issues at all.
