[mythtv-users] KDE status line visible while mythfrontend is up

OK, I fixed it. I know how but not why.

I followed the notes in the "installing XvMC" thread to get XvMC playback working. After some fumbling around I got the CPU+ playback working. And lo and behold, the status bar was gone, both in the playback screen and the myth menus!
