I have some pages on the atv-bootloader wiki about players and video 
output, one specifically has the xorg.conf for outputting 480i over 
component. That's one configuration I use for testing when my AppleTV 
is away from the 1080p LCD HDTV.  This is a standard NTSC TV (crt 
with 4:3) with 480i component input. Works like a champ.
