[mythtv-users] Scanner select weaker of two signals

When MythTV scans it is picking up two transponders in my neighborhood 
that transmit the same channel.

During the scan it picks up the weaker and unstable signal as well as 
the quality signal (DBTV).

However, after the scan completes only the weaker & unstable signal is 
in the channel list.

What can I do to make sure the channel on the stronger signal becomes 
the selection?
