I don't think that's needed. nuvexport is more aligned at getting the  
files out of myth. If you just want to make them smaller, I'd get your  
transcoding setting all worked out, and have it set to automatically  
transcode once the recording completes.

However, yes, the mythweb link will only use the default transcode  
settings.
