[mythtv-users] MythGallery Image Orientation

Hi,

Iım attempting to clean-up my photo collection and Iıve run into a few
issues with getting pictures to be oriented correctly in MythGallery.

I believe that all of my photos were taken with cameras which didnıt
necessarily have the proper orientation value set. Over the years, Iıve
manually rotated pictures which should be shown as ³portrait². Iıve found
that by setting the jpeg orient value to ³top-left² using convert, both
portrait and landscape photos are displayed correctly within MythGalleryıs
full-screen view. However, all thumbnails are shown as landscape now,
regardless of whether that is actually correct. Looking in the .thumbcache
directory, it appears that the portrait images are indeed being rotated when
the thumbnail is created. Is there an additional value/tag that should be
set in the files to get around this? FWIW, this is fixes and Iıve compiled
and tested MythGallery both with and without EXIF options.

Thanks!
Joe
