Please check the entry in the dtv_multiplex table for the transponder you
are trying to tune. I'd be willing to bet that the symbolrate and/or fec
and/or modulation are incorrect for the transponder you are trying to tune.
Check  lyngsat or  kingofsat for the parameters of the transponder, and make
sure they match those in your dtv_multiplex table.

I had a very similar problem with the mantis driver and a Skystar HD2, which
I "corrected" by altering the values in dtv_multiplex to the correct ones.
