[mythtv-users] Transcode jobs execute on the backend in which the video was recorded?

I know the secondaryback end was restarted but just in case I have
just told both to reboot. I was under the impression that using the
backend config tool shut down the back end and then when you exited
the menus it started the backend process back up.
After physically rebooting both systems I went to mythweb and
scheduled three transcoding jobs all for recordings that I know where
done on the primary backend. The first and third failed as they where
attempted to run on the secondary backend.
While I like to do alot of the day to day admin tasks from mythweb I
scheduled three recordings that I know were from the primary backend
using the secondary backend's frontend. It appears to work properly
if you schedule the transcode from the frontend interface but not
correctly if you use mythweb to schedule the transcode.
Im running mythtv 0.21.20080304-1 16838
I dont know how to see what verison of mythweb im using but it would
be the latest release as my system is currently up to date.
