I'd say make a scheduled task with the fun to use cron config file. Have
that load up your video in mplayer or vlc or xine or whatever...except
mythtv. You could have mplayer, etc just exit out when the video is done.
That way you can have your mythtv screen be loaded after the video is
finished.
