I restarted the backend on the 13th:
%CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME
6.9 11.6 417368 113256 ? Ssl Aug14 38:14
8.2 15.7 482756 152816 ? Ssl Aug14 164:05
8.2 16.2 487924 157592 ? Ssl Aug14 282:31
8.1 16.8 494108 163820 ? Ssl Aug14 398:39
8.2 17.4 475112 169216 ? Ssl Aug14 519:28
8.2 19.0 515660 185296 ? Ssl Aug14 638:48
8.3 20.2 527224 196632 ? Ssl Aug14 763:23
8.3 21.1 510148 205332 ? Ssl Aug14 882:29
8.3 22.8 552172 221880 ? Ssl Aug14 1011:27
So we dismiss the first sample and see some jittery (?) VSZ growth.
In older stats the growth was more steady.
