[mythtv-users] How do I create desktop icon shortcuts?

I could not find anything in the xfce documentation about desktop
icons but if you place an icon on the desktop with genome, it will be
there if you go back to xfce.  Probably everyone knows this but me but
the icons are files in the desktop directory so if you get the file
there, it is there...
