[mythtv-users] How do I create desktop icon shortcuts?

Create the new icon on the panel and drag it off.

It will be easier this way as you will get to choose
from a list of the installed apps.

Dunno why they made the interface different based on
where your starting point was (in this case the root
window on the desktop).
