But it is noted in the documenation is that local filesystems are preferred
over remote and they will be used until 2 or more recordings are being made
simultaneously.  That alone is enough to understand that a single recording
will *always* land on local storage.  The "tie" aspect is inherent in that
definition and is only a more detailed explanation (given by the coder in
the wiki) for those that care to know why it is preferred and possibly how
to adjust it.
