Mike -
A few weeks ago, I built a system based on the Asus M3A as well. I'm
running 2.6.24.7 and haven't experienced any of the network issues you speak
of (although I've noticed that the cx88_dvb module seems a little less
stable than before I upgraded my kernel). I've been testing my throughput
on my GigE switch, so I'm pretty sure I've hit the 50GiB. Transfer speeds
still look fine (180 Mb/s).
I'll be happy to share any settings if it would help (although I don't
remember fiddling too much with the default bios settings)
Dave
