I have an Abit IL-90MV that worked out of the box with audio over HDMI, 
at least once I'd realised the audio was muted! I was very pleasantly 
surprised. However I wanted another of these boards but can't seem to 
find anywhere that sells it. But anyway, chipset for audio and video is 
Intel and I've really come round to the idea that Intel is the way to go 
these days.
