Looks like another possible portable frontend is coming out. Since it's
a Linux-based device the 3D should work. I've appended the notice I
received in case anyone's interested.

Hello everyone, Craig here,

Right, finally, GPH have allowed us to talk about the GP2X Mini, now
named, absurdly, The Wiz.

It is launching on the 6th of October and adds in some nice features
which were lacking from
the original GP2X.

ARM9 CPU @ 533mhz
64MB RAM
3D Acceleration
Touch Screen
1GB internal storage
TV Out
Support for SD / SDHC
2000Mah internal battery (good for 5 hours, charged via USB).
One of those fancy OLED screens too.

We are working on getting the best GP2X programs and emulators running
on this for launch,
the device itself is smaller than the GP2X and looks pretty, well, erm,
cute.

It's £129.99 on GBAX but if you follow this little link you can grab it
for £124.99
for the next 3 days: http://gbax.com/gp2xwiz.html

Our first shipment seems to be limited to just 100 units so this will
probably sell out fast,
and even faster once you see MAME & Amiga running on it.

We don't have the official UK website up and running yet (it's almost
done) but GBAX.com is
covering for that for now, and it will be linked from there once complete.

I've uploaded the huge Wiz promotional flyer complete with chinglish
text here:

It's over 2Meg and you will have to zoom your browser in to see it all.

In other news some of you may like this Doctor Who '5 Doctors' spoof on
youtube, forgive the cockeyed
Davidson opening as it goes on to be very very well done, 2 parts:

Right folks that's all for now, any questions or removal requests etc.
to the usual address:

gp2xorders.com

Take care,

Craig
