Or, to just delete it, turn on the "Arrow key accelerators" setting.
Then, go to the Watch Recordings screen and find the recording metadata
you want to delete and hit Right. You should get a dialog that
basically says the file doesn't exist and gives two options--Show
details, and Delete. Select Delete, then Yes or Yes and allow re-record.

If you /don't get a dialog that says the file doesn't exist and gives
two options--details and delete--the preview generator happened to mess
things up for you at just the right time. So, exit out of Watch
Recordings and try again. Try to be fast when selecting the recordings
some times or slow other times. Eventually, you should get it.

Note that this was all a lot easier before someone broke it when they
added a new feature (and it didn't used to require the arrow key
accelerators). One day, I'll get around to fixing it--again... On the
bright side, as long as it's a pain, perhaps people will be more careful
about making sure recording files are only deleted through Myth. (OK,
really, it means they'll do "easier" things like run scripts that
haven't been properly maintained for years or edit the DB directly and
leave garbage in there or ... but a guy can hope, right?)
