All,
I'm running Myth 0.21 fixes on opensuse 11.0 BE and on Ubuntu 8.10 on my FE.
I recently installed a Pinnacle PCTV 800i digital tuner into my FE. Before I added digital channels to myth, I created my own channels.conf file from (dvb)scan. See it below. Problem is that I can't get all of these channels to show up in myth as they tend to overwrite each other.
For instance, I scanned for channels with myth and it added several channels. It did not, however add WUTV (as defined below). So I created a channels.conf file with just the line in it for WUTV. Then I imported it using the "Import channels.conf" option in the channels scanner. It imported it, however I got some kind of output like "Updated WIVB" and it overwrote my WIVB channel. It still called it WIVB, but it now tuned to WUTV. I can get WIVB back by creating a 1 line channels.conf with just the line for WIVB in it and importing it, but then I have to WUTV.
Can anyone help me understand why I cannot have BOTH of these channels as channels in myth at the same time?
