It's exactly every 30 minutes as near as I can tell by manually eying
the wall clock when it happens. Right now it happens to be :49 and :19
after the hour. 

In answer to the previous poster: I don't use mythvideo at all, but it
is installed as I've always thought I would eventually want to use it.
