Maybe, maybe not.

By definition, he won't be storing TV programming on that drive.
Did you not read his request?

Nor do the actual numbers matter much. I would recommend that
the /extra have enough space to store three or four 4.8G DVD
images, as well as the less than 1 GB of database.
