[mythtv-users] video capture card -- failed to open

Hello,

Please excuse me if this is not the right place to ask this question.
I don't really know where to look for answers.

I installed KnoppMyth R5F27 for MythTV. I have problems configuring
the video capture card. My video capture card is Philips FM1236/F H-3.
In the MythTV -- Video Caputre Card, if I select V4L, it reports
Failed to open.

Here is what v4l-conf returns:

can't open /dev/video0: No such file or directory
