Zero, as the TV is broadcasted in MPEG2 and the stream is just dumped to
disk without any processing.

You will need to decode it in software, using the general purpose CPU.
But it's not that taxing for SD.

Yup.

The Western Digital GP disk look great as far as noise is concerned.

I'm getting on 1 TB.

My setup had the same requirements as yours, without any media anywhere
on the network, all is on-board. My CPU is an overkill for SD, but it
was a gift.
