MythTV itself won't use all of it, but Linux will use it to provide
disk cache, which will help speed up disk access. So you'll get some
benefit. This could conceivably speed up commercial flagging of a
program that was just recorded, since the commercial flagger will be
reading data that's already cached in RAM.
