[mythtv-users] lirc weirdness

This should be simple.  I cant find the error though.
When running irw as mythtv ( for example ) and press the down button,  
I get:
[mythtv at markmythhd ~]$ irw
0000000000001795 00 Down Hauppauge_350


So,
In my .myth/lircrc file I have the below, however I get no response  
from the frontend.
Is there something I am missing?
Ideas?

I am just looking to arrow down on the main mythtv page for a start.
