[mythtv-users] Improving UK DVBT with Filters

I've just got myself a nice 1080p 42" LCD telly - and am using mythtv
with it via a vga connection - 1024x768. I can only get 1080p via HDMI
which wont be coming until I buy a graphics card with hdmi (audio
needed).

The picture quality is pretty good and there is not a problem. I am just
looking to improve picture quality a little for UK Freeview DVB-T using
filters and other deinterlacing methods.

Could someone please explain a bit more about "quickdnr" , "denoise3d"
and if post process is useable yet. Recommended settings for UK would be
pretty handy. I've tried a combination of linear blend or kernel
deinterlacing. Both work pretty well.

The FE has a FX5200 , not using XVMC. Celery 2.4ghz cpu so should have
the horsepower of SD filters and deinterlacing pretty comfortably.

Thanks in advance.

A
