Yes, I do get those "stray" events too, and every now'n'then I clean 
them out of mySQL, I suppose a sanity-check on date range as they are 
inserted would be useful, but they don't really do much harm, other than 
  preventing you from seeing on the status screen that you are getting 
EPG updates.
