I've been keeping the uk_rt channel_ids file up-to-date for the last
2+ years. The key change in XMLTV recently (it's worth upgrading to
0.5.50) is the fact that the channel_ids file is now hosted online at
xmltv.org, so that any updates can be made available without requiring
a user to update their version of XMLTV or get the channel_ids file
manually.
