[mythtv-users] How to configure mythmusic while using ac3 passthrough?

I have fc8 on a box I built for a friend running 0.21 from atrpms
bleeding. He has an Audigy live 7.1.   and ac3 pass through works
great!   I can not figure out how to setup mythmusic to go through
spdif.  I tried it set to default, but I get no sound.  The error in
the terminal is.... 2008-01-08 14:30:24.513 Opening OSS audio device
'/dev/dsp'.
Unable to open mixer: 'ALSA:default'

Any help is appreciated.
