I agree, interlace artifacts all over the place.

The artifacts I see are not worse than what I sometimes see on sports
events, even directly off-air, no Myth involved.

Remember all of the networks are encoding/decoding and processing, as is
your cable/satellite provider, plus all of the terrestrial links, all this
in addition to your system. It's a miracle we can see anything at all.

OK, I tried Bob using both xvmc and standard as the preferred mpeg decoder
(normally I use kernal and standard). Once I switch to Bob, the video starts
to shake a lot, like an earthquake is going on in the game. Hard to explain.
But, on the otherhand, the motion is smooth, you just can't watch the game
cause of the shaking (gives you a headache after about 15 seconds). I'm
using an nvidia 7300 on ubuntu feisty. Any other ideas? I have tried all of
the deinterlace algorithm's and all the preferred mpeg 2 decoder settings.
Any other ideas?
