Best bet is http://mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-23.html#ss23.7 .  I.e.
backup ( http://mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-23.html#ss23.5 ), drop DB,
run mc.sql, start mythtv-setup, exit mythtv-setup, then do 23.7 stuff,
then finish reconfiguring mythtv-setup and then mythfrontend setup.
