Indeed you need to plu the two lose cables from the VFD unit into the
mainboard, where you plugged in the cable from the power switch
before. The power switch cable goes into the VFD unit instead.
I can confirm that you can still use the power switch this way and
possibly switch on the case with the remote (which I can't do yet, as
my MCE remote has not yes arrived...)
