A nice looking case, one that looks like a piece of home theater equipment,
rather than a PC in the living room has value to some people.  To others, it
has little value.

No one is going to convince me that having a home theater component that
looks like a home theater component is a bad idea.  For some people, it's
worth spending a few more dollars on looks, and for others, they'll happily
leave surround sound cables duct-taped to their carpet, and they'd rather
not spend an extra cent on a nice looking case (that also happens to perform
quite well).
