25% increase of VSZ in a week for the 2nd part.
The second run has EPG enabled (and working) so slightly different figures.

I did not see a response to my question about typical numbers, so let me
put it this way:
Do you think it is OK to file a bug now?
Others experiencing memory usage issues can report there and perhaps
provide valgrind logs (which I can't).
