Sorry to rain on your parade but they only released the opensource
components they use in their device.
They haven't released any of the "Netflix" code.
All the code they released is the code from opensource libraries that you
could get yourself.

Certain components of the software included with the Netflix Player by Roku
are subject to separate license terms, including "free" or "open source"
software ("Separately Licensed Code"). As required by the terms of the
relevant Separately Licensed Code licenses, Roku makes the "free" and "open
source" code provided under such licenses, and Roku's modifications to such
code, available on Roku's website, at no charge.
It will rain pigs before they release the netflix code they use, plus the
chip does all the DRM work required by the studios...
