 Sorry to rain on your parade but they only released the opensource
components they use in their device.
They haven't released any of the "Netflix" code.
All the code they released is the code from opensource libraries that you
could get yourself.

It will rain pigs before they release the netflix code they use, plus the
chip does all the DRM work required by the studios...
