MJPEG2000, much better compression than MJPEG and easier editing than 
MPEG2 or MPEG4 because you don't have to worry about B or P frames.  The 
plan is to wrap the MJPEG2000 and the audio in a Matroska container.  
The other advantage is that it will be all open source and you will be 
able to run other apps on the box if you desire (like LED status lights 
for your tuners).
