It's a standard web-browser limit (defined in RFC2616) - maximum number
of persistent connections to a single site.  I think only IE is still
set as low as 2 - Firefox looks to be set to 6 by default (and is
adjustable) and Opera looks to be set to 4 (and is also adjustable).
